If, after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your arrangements in any way we will do our utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible.
Any request for changes to be made must be confirmed by the Primary Charter Guest. Requests for changes to your booking should be sent to email@example.com.
A minimum 50% deposit is required at booking and final payment for the balance is due 14 days prior to departure but may be paid before this time. If a cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure date and time, the deposit will be refunded back to the customer less the booking fee of $45. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the departure day you will lose your deposit unless we can find you an alternative date and at the discretion of Houhora Fishing Charters.
NO refunds will be given for 'SPECIALS' or 'PACKAGE DEALS'. We will however work with you to find you an alternative date for your charter.
If we cancel your charter due to bad weather or a breakdown, we will give you the option to have your deposit refunded, or of re booking a new date for your charter.
There will be no deposit or full refunds offered where the change or cancellation is due to Force Majeure. “Force Majeure” means unforeseeable and unusual circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances or events include (but are not limited to) war or threat of war, riot, COVID restrictions, civil strife, industrial dispute, unavoidable technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire and adverse conditions. We may however – at our discretion offer an alternative date for your charter.
